Meet all our doctorsFrequently asked questions
Is the emergency department really open 24/7?
Yes. A doctor and nursing team are on site around the clock, every day of the year, including weekends and public holidays. You do not need an appointment — come straight to the main entrance.
Do I need to call before coming to A&E?
No. In an emergency, come directly or call +233 30 241 1491 on the way so our team can prepare. For a life-threatening situation, treatment takes priority over paperwork.
Can I be seen in French?
Yes. Our emergency and medical team includes French-speaking staff, so you can describe your symptoms in French or English at any hour.
Do you accept NHIS and private insurance for emergencies?
We accept NHIS and our private insurance partners. In an emergency we stabilise you first and handle billing afterwards — bring your insurance card and ID if you can.
