Insurance & NHIS
Aneeja Hospital accepts the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and six private insurers, so most patients in Accra are covered for consultations, investigations and admissions. Bring your active insurance card and a photo ID to every visit.

How billing works
-
1
Register at the front desk
Present your insurance card and ID. We verify your cover and confirm what your plan includes before you are seen.
-
2
Receive your care
For covered services, we bill your insurer directly. Any item not covered by your plan is explained to you in advance.
-
3
Settle the balance
You pay only what your plan does not cover — by cash, card or mobile money. We give you a clear, itemised receipt.
Paying without insurance
Uninsured and international patients are welcome. We accept cash, card and mobile money (MoMo), and will give you a clear estimate before any planned procedure.
